Beaver County Recognizes the Biosphere's Commitment to Heritage Conservation

Beaver Hills Biosphere is honoured to be recognized by Beaver County Council for its contributions to the protection, preservation and promotion of Alberta's natural and cultural heritage.

In a proclamation made at the March 26, 2025 Regular Council Meeting, the County acknowledged the Biosphere's 2024 Alberta Heritage Award and recognized the Biosphere as a significant contributor to heritage conservation, both locally and beyond. The proclamation encouraged all Beaver County residents to explore and enjoy the UNESCO-designated landscape where people live and work in harmony with nature.

We are grateful for the continued support of our municipal partners and invite everyone to discover the unique beauty and cultural heritage of the Beaver Hills Biosphere.
