New for 2025: Indigenous Conservation Campfire Conversations
We’re excited to announce the 2025 Indigenous Conservation Campfire Conversations! These monthly virtual gatherings explore the profound connections between Indigenous knowledge, conservation and biodiversity. Building on the success of previous years, we’ve curated a compelling lineup of topics to bring diverse perspectives to the conversation.
From restoring buffalo herds to exploring Indigenous-led conservation models, each session shines a light on the vital role Indigenous communities play in stewarding the land for future generations. The series also dives into pressing challenges, such as eco-colonialism, sustainable land-use and reconciling development with Indigenous rights.
